born in Budapest.

Training

Budapest: Musical grammar school, studies in piano and voice at the Conservatory.

Salzburg: Diploma in opera, oratorio and song at the “Mozarteum“.

Hamburg: Master class with Prof. Erna Berger at the Music Academy supported with a scholarship from the Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft.

Tours with the German Opera Company, Concerts, radio-recordings in: Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands, mainly with song-recitals of the 16th and 17th century

1962-64: Studies in song repertoire with Prof. P. Schilhawsky and Prof. J. Patzak at the “Mozarteum“ in Salzburg

1974-77: Master classes specialising in the performance of vocal music in the 16th /17th Century with Alfred Deller/Lacoste, Nigel Rogers/Innsbruck, Andrea von Ramm/Castello di Gargonza

Teaching experience

1964: Forming and training a singing class and vocal ensemble at the Salzburg Music School.

1975-83: Teaching at the Academy for Teacher Training Salzburg.

1982-99: Lecturer and trainer for voice and didactics at the ORFF-Institute Salzburg.

1986-99: Lecturer and trainer for voice and ensemble singing at the Department for Church Music at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts “Mozarteum“ in Salzburg.
